I grew up next to Greenlake park in Seattle. An urban swamp reclaimed, I’ve spent years walking and running, swimming and relaxing by the shores of this urban park. In the 1990’s there was a great push to reintroduce native plants, and tear out invasive blackberries. With the flora, there has been a beautiful return of animal life, and every time I visit home I spend some time walking around, and seeing what I can find.
