Buddha Jayanti at Boudhanath Stupa

This year I set out to document the night lights of Buddha Jayanti at Boudhanath Stupa.  Unesco World Heritage site in Kathmandu, Boudhanath draws thousands of worshipers who circle the giant shrine clockwise and light offerings to celebrate Buddha’s life, enlightenment and nirvana on this day in May.
